For the lobby of the prestigious Grand Hotel Ampezzo in Cortina, we crafted a bespoke architectural bronze interior balustrade, designed to redefine the vertical space of the main staircase. This masterpiece serves as both a functional and sculptural element, captivating guests from the very moment they step into the hotel.
The design stands out for its refined geometric rhythm, where sleek vertical uprights alternate with open rectangular frames. This composition gracefully lightens the visual weight of the structure, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. Light flows seamlessly through the negative spaces of the bronze, enhancing the veining of the LED-backlit white marble steps while harmonizing with the warmth of the surrounding wooden boiserie.
