Contarini degli Armeni residence – Asolo

Italy - 1997

Villa Contarini degli Armeni is a historic Venetian Villa that dates back to the late sixteenth century.

During its restoration, we were commissioned to craft the wrought iron features, including the main gate, the railings, the doors to the balustrades for the stairs, and the handles for the shutters and windows.

 THE DETAILS

The designs of the wrought iron components were created by the art historian and architect Manlio Brusatin and were the culmination of careful historical research.

Much attention was also paid to the use of special traditional techniques that were commonly used at that time.

The fruitful exchange of knowledge between the architect and our workshop made it possible to guide choices that ensured the most appropriate technical and aesthetic solutions were made.
