Private residence – Osaka
Japan - 1993
Project conducted in partnership with the studio Nagata & Kitano & Associates, who entrusted us with the development of the architectural and decorative element of the wrought iron railings for the internal stairs.
The style has a European influence, and represented a departure from traditional Japanese styling.
For one room, the balustrade of a straight staircase was created with an original design to give a light feel to the structure.
For another, a balustrade was created for a curved staircase with a more rhythmic and modular geometry.
THE DETAILS
This particularly complex project was implemented before the advent of digital communication and technology, in the years when drawings and measurements were sent by fax or post.
