Villi ZANINI – wrought iron craftsman

"No house should ever be on a hill or on anything. It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the other."

F.Lloyd Wright

Architecture is the art that has most inspired my work. My most important points of reference are Frank Lloyd Wright, Victor Horta, Antonì Gaudì and Santiago Calatrava, as well as such wrought iron masters as Carlo Rizzarda, Alessandro Mazzucotelli, Edgar Brand e Gilbert Poillerat, whose craftsmanship has been a great inspiration.

Taking my inspiration from these artists, it is with hard-won knowledge and dedication, together with my team of skilled assistants, that I forge original, exclusive, custom-made pieces, personally overseeing the design and planning, or working together with architecture and design studios.

My team and I are dedicated to this ancient art, in which we meld the passion and artisanship of our past with the dynamism and spirit of research of our present.

My firm is like an atelier or studio, in which art, technique, architecture, innovation and livability come together.
